Video Guide

- Dashboard: See the posts ready for approval below the Orange Box. On the left side of the screen, click on Manage Posts.
- All the posts waiting for approval will be listed. To find posts for a specific category, click on “select” and a dropdown box will appear allowing you to see only posts in a specific category. Choose a category and click on “Search.”

- Another way to filter the posts is typing in the specific Category and/or Tag you wish to view. Then scroll to the far right and click on “Search.”
- You can also filter the posts by their calendar week. You can select a range of weeks or just choose to view one week's content. To specify a range of weeks, look to the top of the page. Choose a "From" week and a "To" week, then click the orange search button in the top right corner. If you only want to view one week, you can click on the "CW" filter in the filter bar. Choose your desired week. Then click the orange "Search" button in the filter bar.

- You can also search for posts by serial number, title, social copy, or approval status using the same method--enter the criteria into the search box and click the orange "Search" button on the far right-hand side.
- EDITING POSTS: Click on the pencil to edit a post. (Click on the eyeball if you just want to view the post. ) We suggest using the edit option only for very minor changes to the post.
- **MAKE SURE YOU EDIT THE SOCIAL COPY FOR ALL SOCIAL MEDIA CHANNELS SO THEY REMAIN CONSISTENT**
- If you choose to edit, the below screen will appear, allowing you to make changes to the post. Make sure you change the post for all the social platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.). When you have made all the changes, click on “Update Post." (If you do not, the changes will not be saved.)

- APPROVING OR REJECTING POSTS: You can either approve or reject the posts by clicking on the dropdown box under Status. Upon approval, the post is sent to the customer domain to await weekly distribution through Ready For Social to the end users. (Please note, once content is sent to a customer domain, it can still be edited or removed if needed. However, once the content is distributed to end user, only the end user can edit or remove content from their social media.)

- REJECTIONS: If rejected, a box will appear allowing the customer-approver to give feedback as to why the post was rejected. This step in the process is very important to improve the quality of the content. Client approvers can enter a brief reason for the rejection and click “OK.”

- BULK APPROVAL: Check the box in the upper right-hand corner to select ALL posts in the Approval queue. Then use the green "Approve Post(s)" button at the top of the screen to approve all of the posts you have selected.

- After all the content has been approved or rejected, there will be no listings in the approver’s view.
