How to approve Generic TSI (ENG) posts

If you need to review TSI Generic content, follow these tips.

Timing:

Writing due Tue (+2 weeks)

All content needs to be approved by the EIC by Friday EOD (+2 week)

Categories:

DIGITAL

CLOUD & INFRASTRUCTURE

SECURITY

ADVISORY

You will need to approve all "generic" posts in all four categories. There's no set number of posts for each category. All posts can go into any of the 4 TSI categories depending on the topic. So, if a post would fit better in a different category, feel free to move it over.

They should all have the tag "generic," but if the article fits another topic, you can add the corresponding tag in addition to the “general” tag. This makes it easier for users to find the content they are looking for. For example, generic + new work, generic + sustainability, generic + manufacturing, etc.

Start by typing t-systems into the domain search. Click on the correct category (Digital, Security, Advisory, or Cloud + Infrastructure) and filter by curator code to find English posts. The correct curator code can be found in the AM spreadsheet (Tab T-Systems) – please look for generic content English

Reviewing content:

  1. All Industry articles should have something to do with digitalization! Otherwise, they are not relevant.

  2. Check if the article is relevant and offers added value. Make sure there is no registration needed to read the full article and that the article is recent.

  3. NO PR for other companies! Very careful if the article is written by a competitor, most of the time, the article might need to be rejected. Also, check if there are comments on the article. Even negative comments are a rejection reason.

  4. Check for mentioning of competitors (see list of known competitors here: Competitors-TSI

Please take extra caution when approving content in the Cloud category; any other cloud provider or cloud service provider is a potential competitor.

  5. Check for negative tonality – we want positive social copies!

  6. Replace the image if necessary (no graphs, no photo of the author, etc. - diversity!)

  7. Edit social copy/add relevant hashtags if necessary/ act-check the content, especially if the writer is using AI to write the copy. Use Grammarly to spot typos.

    1. If the copy is too long, cut it down if you're able, or break it up into paragraphs.
    2. Cut out figures and percentages.
    3. Use emojis every once in a while
  8. Check if the post is in the correct category & has the correct tags (move/change if necessary).

  9. In case of EIC rejections, check for replacement articles on Monday morning at the latest.

The client does NOT get replacement posts. Only the rejections by the EIC need to be replaced!
