How to Reconnect your LinkedIn and connect it to a group or a personal LinkedIn profile?

If you're having trouble connecting to your LinkedIn personal or group profile, follow these steps.

1. Log in to your Ready For Social Account.

2. Go to your Profile.

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the page where you have Social Connect Info. The LinkedIn is the second on your left.

4. Click the cross in the top right corner of the LinkedIn icon and disconnect from the LinkedIn.

5. You will be asked whether to disconnect from the network, please click Yes.

6. The information that you have just disconnected from the network will appear in the top right corner of the webpage.

7. Reload your webpage to make sure whether you've done in correctly.

8. Now you should be disconnected from the LinkedIn. In order to reconnect to your LinkedIn profile click the icon Connect to LinkedIn.

9. If you want to reconnect to your personal profile, choose this option and then click Submit button.

10. If you want to reconnect to your group(s), then choose the group(s) you want to reconnect to.

11.  You will get the option to select the group type 'Public' or 'Private' while connecting to a group.

13. Existing users, currently connected to a group, need to specify the correct group type for successful sharing, they can do so by choosing one of the below options: 

Option 1: Reconnect to the group (recommended).  

Option 2: You can select the correct group type by toggling the button. 

*To find out whether the group is private or public on LinkedIn

12. The information that you have connected  successfully will appear in the top right corner of the webpage.

13.Please reload the webpage to make sure you are connected properly.

 

*Once you are connected to the group, a toggle displaying the group type appears under 'Social Connect Info' on 'Profile' page. If you have selected the wrong group type, by any chance, while connecting the group, you can change the group type by clicking on this toggle. This will change your group type in the RFS system.
