The self-onboarding process for Ready For Social is a useful tool that introduces you to the Ready For Social platform and allows you to set up the AutoPilot feature of Ready For Social.

First, navigate to the Ready For Social website. Then, click on the blue "Login" button in the top right corner.

Type in your credentials and click the "Login" button.

Before you begin the self-onboarding process, you must accept the Terms and Conditions for Ready For Social. Scroll down to read through the agreement. When you reach the bottom, click to check the "I agree to Terms and Conditions and Privacy policy Update" box. Then, click the "I Agree" button on the right.

Connecting your Ready For Social account to LinkedIn is required and crucial to your social selling success. Click the blue "Connect" button and type in your LinkedIn credentials.

You will also have the option to connect to your other social media networks. Click the "Connect" button next to Twitter, Xing, or Facebook if you want to connect to these networks. Otherwise, click the "Skip for now" button to continue the self-onboarding process.

Now, you will begin to set up the AutopPilot feature of Ready For Social. Select the languages for your content at the top. Then, select a few categories of content you are interested in under "My Favorite Topics."

Then, you can click to add tags. Click "Prospecting" if you are just beginning your social selling process or "Action" if you are experienced with social selling. Click "Next" to move on.

Now you will select the number of posts you want to go out each week on each network. Click the "Next" button once you have made your selection.

Based on your choices, AutoPilot will generate for you a list of suggested categories and the number of posts from each category that will be posted on your accounts. You can change the categories on the left side of the screen and the number of posts for each category on the right side of the screen.

You can read a description of the AutoPilot feature at the top of your screen. This may help you decide whether you want to enable AutoPilot.

Note: In Ready For Social, the default is enabling AutoPilot. If you want to turn off AutoPilot, make sure to switch the button to the Left.

1. Manage AutoPilot: You can turn AutoPilot on by switching to the Right. It will turn Green once activated. Then Configure AutoPilot Based on your preferences.

From the Categories Preference section, you can select Categories of the Posts, Tags Inclusion type, Post Language, and Number of Posts on that specific week. Once the selection is done, click Save to activate AutoPilot. 

Note: You can select multiple categories using the same process. 

2. Dashboard: Displays the social selling honors you have accumulated.

3. Analytics: Statistics to show how well your posts are performing.

4. Create Post: Clicking the "Create Post" button leads to a brief tutorial on how to create a post.

5. Post Filters: Clicking the "Filter" button allows you to change the filters for what posts are shown to you on the Post Listing page.

Note: The above screenshots for View Post and Share Post are not exactly what you will see during the tour. However, they are very similar.

After the self-onboarding process is complete, you may want to change your password if you were given only a temporary password for your account. To do this, click the person icon in the top right corner and then click the "My Profile" button.

Scroll down, then check the box that reads "Want to change password?" Type in your old password and your new password, then be sure to click the green "Update" button.
